Spring has sprung downunder, ladies and gents, and of course come spring come show season, breeding season, foaling season, the school holidays, and of course the hot, hot weather, which in turn makes for the equine photography season!
Thankfully I have two weeks of photographic preparation, and seven+ lovely horses to practice on before I hit my first show
Excitement is zapping its merry way through the WW Stud for another reason, too; our prized stallion, Newhaven Snap will be attending his first show in two weeks, as well. Hopefully he'll be parading his way out of the ring bearing a few blue ribbons. And Newhaven Monica is due to drop a foal to Barralbee Australis at the end of November. A name has already been chosen; Wiradjuri Mirra Muddy, the Wiradjuri words for 'Star of Cobba'. Personally, I'm hoping for a flaxen/pinto colt. Fingers crossed X X
